Large Format Film
A few years ago, I was drowning in editing from a busy wedding season, culling thousands upon thousands of digital photos, glued to my computer with hours of editing on my plate. That hasn’t really changed. BUT! I decided to invest in a medium that would help me to occasionally slow down. (and I mean reaaaaaaally slow down) To help me relive my art school days. To remind me to shoot with intention.
The term Large Format simply means big film size. My Deardorff is an 8x10” camera, meaning the piece of film that it holds is about the size of a sheet of A4 printer paper. This process certainly takes time. But, the look simply cannot be replicated.
I’ll always still shoot the rest of the wedding digitally. But, for the few of you out there that are able to patiently hold a pose, let’s create large format images on your wedding day. Inquire for more information.
